Recruitment Process

1. Role description – read and pray about whether to apply.
2. Informal chat (Zoom) to find out more about the role. Please email admin@newteam.org.uk to arrange this.
3. Application form – download, complete and submit as soon as possible.
   • We can provide a scribe if needed (email admin@newteam.org.uk).
4. Shortlisting – We will let you know if you are called to interview or not.
5. Interview – These are most likely to be in mid-August, 2024. We will update this date on the website as we have more information. We are aware this is the summer time, so if you are not available on these dates, please let us know and we will do what we can to arrange an interview when those called to interview are available.
6. Work trial 1 – 4 hours
   • Youth work trial, with basic training beforehand and debrief afterwards. If you are offered the job, you will be paid for this time, with your first monthly pay.
7. Job offers – to selected candidate subject to remaining references and PVG. 
8. References – If we offer you a position, we will then approach your referees for a reference.
9. PVG – We will apply for you to join the PVG scheme or get a PVG Update.
